Opposition will receive unforgettable surprise very soon, Usman Buzdar

The Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab Usman Buzdar on Thursday said that the opposition will soon receive an unforgettable surprise. Amid the current political situation in the country, the CM of Punjab has been encountering continued meetings with the Federal Ministers and members of Assembly. In the meetings, the political situation and matters of mutual interests were discussed. Among those who called on him were Provincial Ministers Ashifa Riaz, Muhammad Sibtain Khan and member of Punjab Assemby Muhammad Abdullah Warraich.

On the Occasion Usman Buzdar mocked the opposition saying that the opposition who had been inclined towards the no-confidence motion has no confidence in itself. While showcasing trust and reliance in the solidarity of the members he expressed that the no-confidence motion will be a reason to panic for the opposition parties.

Provincial Ministers Ashifa Riaz and Muhammad Sibtain Khan further expressed that they have complete trust in their leadership and said that they stand with CM Usman Buzdar.

Supreme Court issues notice to PM Imran Khan

Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued notice to Imran Khan, NADRA and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over plea of Ayaz Sadiq regarding allegations of rigging in general elections of 2013.

According to details, the apex court conduct hearing on plea of the PML-N leader regarding allegations of rigging in NA-122 during 2013 polls.

Ayaz Sadiq argued that the allegations levelled against him damaged his reputation as he was called a liar and an impression was created that he won election through rigging.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial asked the PML-N leader whether he lost the election after such allegations. On this Ayaz Sadiq said that he has never lost an election.

Ayaz Sadiq Sahab you are very sensitive, CJP remarked.

Chief Justice while issuing notices to concerned parties, said that the court will soon hear the petition again

PIA plane رeturned from Ukraine carrying 230 Pakistani stuck students

A special plane of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Boeing-777, reached Islamabad in the wee hours of Wednesday from Poland, carrying 230 Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Ambassador of Poland to Pakistan Maciej Pisarski, his wife Justyna Maria Pisarski, Foreign Secretary Sohail Mehmood and PIA officials received the evacuated Pakistanis at the airport.

On this occasion, Polish Ambassador said, "We as the embassy are very happy that the students have returned home safe and reunited with their families. We are here to show solidarity with the parents and share their pain as they were worried for the safety of their children." On the occasion, Foreign Secretary Sohail Mehmood thanked the government of Poland and said that Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassies of Pakistan were working hard for the evacuation of Pakistanis stuck in Ukraine.

The flight was a special initiative taken by the government of Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he added.

The Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) echoed with the slogans of Pakistan Zindabad (Long Live) and the PIA Zindabad raised by the passengers as they came out of the special flight.
