Zara Noor Abbas reveals Sajal Ali's important role in her marriage with Asad Siddiqui

Sajal Ali and Bushra Ansari played an important role in the marriage of Zara Noor Abbas with Asad Siddiqui, the Khamoshi actress has disclosed in an interview.

The Ehd-e-Wafa actress recently appeared as a guest on web show of Iffat Umar and got candid about her personal life, marriage with Asad and about her mother Asma Abbas's battle with cancer.

During the interview, Zara revealed that besides her aunt Bushra Ansari, her close friend Sajal Ali, Asim Azhar and Yasir Hussain played important role in her marriage with Asad Siddiqui.

Zara went on to say seven years back, whenever she visited Bushra 'aunty' on the sets of Takkay Ki Ayegi Baraat, she had a conversation with Asad but after the shooting ended it stopped and they both got busy in their lives.

She added, “Seven years later, when Asad and I met again, within five to six week, our marriage was finalized.”

Zara added ladies of our family were on a trip to Malaysia where she received a call from Asad who informed her that he will be visiting her house with his family in Lahore.

She said Bushra and Sajal Ali played key role in their marriage without informing her.

Zara and Asad got married in 2017.

On the work front, Zara Noor Abbas was last seen in drama series Ehd-e-Wafa.

Turkey is determined to do whatever is necessary to obtain its rights in the Black Sea, Aegean and Mediterranean, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday.

Speaking at an event commemorating the 11th century military victory by Seljuk Turks over the Byzantine empire at Malazgirt, Erdogan also called on Ankara’s counterparts to avoid mistakes that he said would bring their destruction.

“We will not compromise what is ours... We are determined to do whatever is necessary,” Erdogan said.

PM Khan constitutes National Coordination Committee on Tourism

Prime Minister Imran Khan constituted the National Coordination Committee on Tourism (NCCT) to "steer the country towards becoming the fastest growing tourism destination", read a statement from the Prime Minister's Office on Wednesday.

According to the notification, the committee will seek to raise the competitiveness of the tourism industry and "maximize utilization of Pakistan's natural, cultural, historical, archeological, religious and geographical tourist assets for employment creation, poverty reduction, sustained economic growth, social inclusion and quality of life improvement".

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Zulfi Bukhari will be the committee's convener.

 

The notification stated that the Cabinet Division will be responsible for providing secretarial support to the committee.

I) Oversee and review implementation of National Tourism Strategy and alignment/integration of Provincial /Regional Policies/actions to National Tourism Strategy/Action Plan.

II) Implementation of Prime Minister's Directives on Tourism and the progress thereof.

III) Geo-mapping and profiling of all tourist spots/attractions/destinations, tourism & hospitality business, products, services providers etc.

IV) Identification of barriers to tourism development with concrete recommendation/directions for their removal to create an enabling environment for tourism sector to operate competitively and ensure implementation.

V) Identify policy and legislative impediments and develop and recommend measure to overcome them.

VI) Devise effective regulatory and implementation mechanism of National Minimum Standards while ensuring its monitoring and coordination with all stake holders for its strict compliance.

VII) Promote tourism investment through PPP, SME and access to capital etc. and oversee availability of International Standard Feasibilities of viable projects.

VIII) Identify and oversee implementation of initiatives for improvement of tourism.

IX) Devise and oversee strategy to encourage affordable domestic tourism and identify viable options to ensure the growth of domestic tourism in a systemic manner.

X) To identify and suggest measures to promote formal training to improve skill set of human resource related and working in the industry.

XI) To make required decisions and issue instructions to the relevant Ministries/Divisions/Departments/ Stakeholders and organizations with timeline and monitor progress/implementation.

XII) Hold regular fortnightly meetings to review progress on the deliverables.

XIII) Act as focal point for inter-provincial, inter-ministerial, inter-departmental and inter-agency coordination to resolve implementation issues with respect to tourism sector development.

Cellphone services in seven cities of Punjab will remain suspended due to security concerns on Youm-e-Ashur, said a notification issued by the provincial home department on Wednesday.

According to the notification, the Punjab government has sought details from the district administrations of the seven cities where mobile phone services will be suspended.

Cellphone services will remain suspended in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Jehlum, Chiniot, Okara and Bahawalpur on the 10th of Muharram.

The notification sent to the cities has directed district administrations to let the provincial government know the timings when cellular services will be suspended. It further said that the timings will be sent to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) so that any untoward accident can be avoided on the day.
